What’s Happening at Hillcrest?

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Hillcrest offers nursery for all 3 services & Children’s Church for children ages 3 up to Kindergarten during the 11:00 service. AWANA is our mid-week program for children ages 3-6 th grade, Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm during the school year.

JUNIOR HIGH MINISTRY

Junior High Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm at the Seward Youth Center at 5 th & Main Street.

SENIOR HIGH MINISTRY

Senior High Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings at 7pm Pastor Curt and Joan Coddington’s home a 1511 Eastridge Ave.

Dare2Share is coming up on February 26 th & 27 th in Lincoln, NE. We will leave the church at 5:45 on Friday and will return between 8:30-9pm on Saturday. Please see your NETMA for more details and items to bring.

COLLEGE MINISTRY

College Bible Study meets Thursday nights at 9:30pm at Pastor Curt and Joan Coddington’s home at 1511 Eastridge Ave.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Studies is in full swing from 9-11am. They are doing “Seeking Him” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss or “Strong Women Soft Hearts” by Paula Rinehart . Contact Janet Jerger 643-6396.

Hillcrest EFC offers a Single-Mother Bible study / support group held every Wednesday evening, as well as a Step-Mother Bible study / support group held every other Saturday morning. MEN’S MINISTRY

Men’s Saturday Morning Breakfast :every Saturday at 7am at HEFC. Contact Corey Mann 643-2826 or mannco@windstream.net.

Wednesday Night Men’s study group is on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. It is held at Kevin Henning’s home ( 1975 Rainbow Ave). Contact Ken Garton with questions 402-890-4315.

NEWS FROM LEADERSHIP

Choir practice will begin Sunday March 7th at 6:00 pm to prepare for Easter Sunday Services on April 4th. Let Carol Eberspacher know if you will need child care during that time 761-3178

FELLOWSHIP AND OUTREACH

Timberlake Ranch Camp has started summer camp registration. Visit www.timberlake.org to register or for more information call 308-946-3871. There are also some registration forms in the church office if you prefer to register that way.

The Single Parent Family group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm at Neutral Groundz. Contact Arica Dawe with questions 641-8393.

• Adult Bible Fellowships: We have 4 Adult Bible Fellowship Groups. Here are the descriptions of the groups:

Homebldrz 127 - A group of parents with young children. The foundation for the group is Psalm 127. This week the group will be discussing how we can apply this Psalm to our lives. Contact Andy Jensen 643-6364
Sojourners - A group of parents with children in Junior/Senior High. This group will be studying The Five Love Languages of Teenagers. Contact Eddy Sander 643-2792 or Greg & Karen Majerus 643-6932

Free At Last - A group of adults whose children are grown and out on their own. This group is currently sharing testimonies with one another. Contact Ken Baldinger 643-3798
Unleashed - A class of young adults who are discovering & unleashing passion for God & reaching others in post high school- to early career adult stage of life. Contact Joel & Dawn Navis 643-6545
Path Lighters - This will be a group made of adults who have adult children (18 & up, college, young married, etc.) Studying I & II Timothy. Contact Arlyn Hanseling 761-2225

Adult Bible Fellowships meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45. We invite you to join a group and form relationships with people who are at similar life stages. If you have any questions please contact the leader listed or the church office.
